Privacy Policy

Appsolutely Works Pty Ltd · ABN 70 695 500 559 · Last updated: 3 August 2026

This policy explains how we handle personal information on this website. It covers this website only - it does not cover our mobile apps or app support services, which each have, or will have, their own privacy policy linked from the app store listing. It is written to follow the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

The short version

We collect almost nothing. This site has no accounts, no logins, and no advertising. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone. The only personal information you actively give us is what you type into the contact form, which we use only to reply to you. Like most websites, our host also keeps short-lived technical logs so the site runs securely.

What we collect

  • What you send us. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide, so we can read and respond to your enquiry.
  • Basic technical logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when you visit - such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is used to keep the site secure and running reliably.

We do not ask for, or intentionally collect, any other personal information.

Please don't include sensitive information (such as health, financial, or identity details) in your message unless it's genuinely necessary for your enquiry.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, and it does not run any analytics or third-party tracking.

If you switch the site between light and dark mode, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never sent to us or anyone else.

We self-host our fonts, so viewing the site does not share your details with any font provider.

How we use your information

We use the information you send through the contact form solely to read your message and respond to it. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not add you to any list.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We use a small number of trusted third-party providers to run the site - for example, a hosting and content-delivery provider (which processes the basic technical logs described above) and an email-delivery provider (which sends your contact-form message to us). They only handle information as needed to provide their service to us, and we may also disclose information if required by law.

Overseas handling

Some of our third-party providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where their infrastructure operates. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.

How long we keep it

We keep contact-form messages for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, and then delete them during routine cleanup - typically within about 12 months - unless we need to keep them longer for legal or security reasons. Technical logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security and reliability, according to their standard retention, and then discarded.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to keep the small amount of information we handle well protected.

Your choices and rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or correct it if it is wrong. You can also ask us to delete contact-form information we hold, where we no longer need it and are not required to keep it. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time. To make a request, or to ask a privacy question, contact us through the contact form.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, send us a message through the contact form and tell us it is a privacy complaint. We will aim to respond within 30 days; if we need more time, we will let you know why. If you are not satisfied with our response, or we do not reply in a reasonable time, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top.
